Falling in love with pvp

I always have been a very competitive person in just about everything I did, but don't get me wrong I am sure you get really happy when you see yourself at the top of the HK list or the most healed.
I recently found myself in this trance where everything I am doing slows down and I can make a very quick decision on who is more of a threat to me in pvp. Does this happen to anyone else?
